2008 Bright Ideas Grant Application





Do not include the name of your county or school in parts 2, 3 or 4.

You must use the 2008 Southern Rivers Energy Bright Ideas Grant Application.

Do not attach any supplementary materials.

Teachers may only submit one grant application per year.

Applications must be approved by school principal.

Applicants must adhere to word limits.

Grants will be awarded to certified school teachers instructing students in grades K-12 (public or private) in Bibb, Coweta, Crawford, Lamar, Meriwether, Monroe, Pike, Spalding and Upson counties. Maximum amount of grant is $1000.

Applicants agree that their name, photo and project may be used in print, broadcast and other forms of media in publications of Southern Rivers Energy and the Southern Rivers Energy Trust, Inc.

No handwritten applications will be accepted.

All applications must be submitted online by Friday, September 12.

Any applications received by Friday, August 29 will be entered in an Early Bird prize drawing for a $250 Staples gift card.

Bright Ideas Brigade will announce winners and issue checks Thursday & Friday, October 23-24.

Applicant Agreement: I am a certified teacher in a certified Georgia K-12 school in Bibb, Coweta, Crawford, Lamar, Meriwether, Monroe, Pike, Spalding and Upson counties. I have the support of the school principal. This is the only application I have submitted. I will use this grant, if awarded, for students in grades K-12. I agree, if I win, to submit a report about the grant's outcome. I also agree that my name, photo and information about the grant may be used in publications and publicity of Southern Rivers Energy and/or Southern Rivers Energy Trust, Inc. without compensation to me or my team members. Applicants will be considered to agree with these terms with a submitted application.
