If a member in any household served by Southern Rivers Energy has a medical condition that requires the use of electrically operated medical equipment, we will do our best to keep the member informed during extended outages; however, this does not mean we will prioritize restoring their service first. We will do our best to keep them informed during extended outages, and we will contact them ahead of any scheduled outages during maintenance or system upgrades.
To be added to the Medical Priority list, please complete and submit the form at the bottom of the page to Customer Service via fax at 770-216-1539 or mail to P.O. Box 40, Barnesville, GA 30204. This does not guarantee priority service, nor does it excuse you from disconnection for non-payment.
We strongly encourage members with medical conditions that require an uninterrupted supply of electricity to have a backup plan in place before a storm hits their area. While we strive to provide our members with the most reliable service possible at the lowest possible cost, we cannot guarantee an uninterrupted supply of electricity due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e., acts of God.
